This book felt as though it were still going through the editing process or needed to return to the developing stage in places while other parts felt smooth and picturesque. The core of the story has a touch of uniqueness not found very often. I was thankful not to feel a heavy dose of preachy religion shoved down my throat. The characters had a range of development and could really use some further work on a few. Not a terrible first book. If someone can get past the flaws they might enjoy it.
I received a free copy through Goodreads FirstReads and have provided an honest review.
