Jenn S. Bookworm

Well written heart-warming tale even those who've never felt the bond between human and animal. Having grown up around horses I could easily relate to certain elements of the story. I didn't want to put it down once I started, even though it was clearly written for a much younger age group. This is one that should be put in every school library encouraging kids both male and female to read it through. The characters felt well fleshed out. The plot was easy to follow and flowed smoothly from start to finish. This one will end up on my shelves, right next to Marguerite Henry and Walter Farley.
